The Sandia Dance team is hosting their 2024-25 clinic and tryouts May 6-8. The dance team is a great way to build new or stronger relationships with those around you. Students in 9-12 grades are welcome, the dance team encourages you to try out. According to the tryouts poster, ¨The stage is set, the pom-poms are fluffed, and the excitement builds as we gear up for our 2024-25 season.¨
To get more insight, here are a few words from current dance member, Nia Lopez, ¨People should join because it's a really good environment and a good group of girls.¨Joining has benefits, it opens up your opportunities. The dance team gets you more involved in school spirit and it's also a good way for the incoming students to interact with their peers. So don't be hesitant to join.
Aaliyah Jones, a student that wants to join for their first year this upcoming season, says¨I think I would love the dance team, and I'm excited to try out.¨Joining the dance team is a good way to expand your comfort zone. It allows you to build new bonds with new people surrounded by you. Sandia has amazing sports teams to fit everyone's needs. If dance sounds like a good opportunity for you, the dance team encourages you to join this season, no experience necessary.

Overall, Sandia´s dance team is a great team. The team is filled with great people and coaches. So don't be afraid about joining because the dance team is a supportive group of people. Find your love for dance and or try something new. Tryout this upcoming Monday through Wednesday!
